The vines from which our wines are made are situated in excellent positions within the well-known 'Barolo zone', in the villages of Novello and Barolo.
Making wine takes many months of work, beginning in winter with pruning and then continuing throughout the season, always by hand.
The earth nourishes, the hand nurtures.
In the cellar the wine is slowly shaped: from pressing the grapes and fermentation, to long ageing in oak barrels, right up to bottling and further ageing in the bottle.

The famous Barolo, the rare Nas-cetta del Comune di Novello, but also Dolcetto d’Alba, Barbera d’Alba (both traditional and 'superiore') and Nebbiolo Rosé. Stra also produces Brajas, a unique blend which is eagerly awaited every year by connoisseurs.
Wine tastings and visits to the cellar and vineyards are hosted by members of the family. Passionate and knowledgeable, they know how to convey the warmth and feelings that have long-defined the family in these Langhe hills.
