grappolo di DolcettoIt is now a few days since days since the harvest of Dolcetto d'Alba grapes ended: wonderful bunches which became fully ripe two weeks early.

Now the must lies into fermenting tasks in the cellar...it is only a matter of days and then, at last, the new "creature" will be left to stand until spring comes.

The Barbera D'Alba and Nebbiolo grape bunches for Barolo wine production will be left in the vineyard at least two more weeks...as long as the weather holds up since us the farmers are always at nature's mercy as regards harversting terms.Grappolo di Nebbiolo
